This notice explains what information getworkers.io collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website and the private-beta form. It doesn't cover the Getworkers app itself, which only its members can sign in to.
Who we are
Getworkers is run by Vexon Group LTD, the controller of the information described here. You can contact us about anything in this notice at [email protected].
What we collect
When you ask to join the private beta, we collect:
- your email address (required)
- your name, if you give it
- what you'd use Getworkers for, if you tell us
- the date you sent the form
We don't ask for anything else, and we don't get information about you from anyone else.
Like most websites, our server records basic technical details of each request, such as the IP address, the page and the time, to keep the site secure and working. We don't store your IP address with your beta request.
Why we use it
We use your beta request only to:
- decide who to invite to the private beta
- contact you about your place in the beta
We do this because you asked us to (your consent), and you can withdraw it at any time. We won't send you marketing, and we never sell your details or share them for anyone else's marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep your beta request until you ask us to delete it, or until 12 months after the private beta ends, whichever comes first. If you become a Getworkers user, we'll tell you then how your account information is handled. Server request logs are deleted after 30 days.
Spam protection: Cloudflare Turnstile
The beta form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that it's being sent by a person rather than an automated program. Turnstile only loads when you scroll to the form or start filling it in. To run its check, Cloudflare processes information about your browser and device, such as your IP address and browser characteristics. Cloudflare says it uses this information to provide and improve the check, and not for advertising. You can read how Cloudflare handles it in its Turnstile privacy addendum.
We use Turnstile because we have a legitimate interest in keeping automated spam out of the beta list. Cloudflare may process the check outside the UK, under the safeguards described in its privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
This website doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it sets no cookies for visitors who aren't signed in. Turnstile may store the small amount of information it needs in your browser to run its check. If you're the workspace owner and sign in to the app, a cookie keeps you signed in.
Who else handles it
Your beta request is stored in our database, which our hosting provider runs for us and may only use on our instructions. Cloudflare handles the spam check as described above. Nobody else receives it.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct it
- delete it
- stop using it
Email [email protected] from the address you used on the form, and we'll reply within one month. Deleting your request also takes you off the beta list.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects a beta request you've already sent, we'll email you first.
