What needs you
The Inbox shows open questions, decisions, approvals, dependency proposals, results awaiting review, stale runs, failed runs and work waiting too long. Tabs show counts by type. Impact ordering counts each open downstream ticket once, even when more than one path reaches it. Your scope filters what you see; the navigation badge shows the global attention count.
Questions and decisions
Answer questions inline. A group may contain several questions; their status links take you to the individual question. Unsaved answers remain protected when you navigate away.
A decision offers two to five options with consequences, the worker's recommendation and its reasoning. Choose an option or ask for more information with a note. More information resolves that request without choosing an option; the worker resumes, investigates and can ask a new linked decision.
Answering resolves that request only. Other requests or dependencies can keep the ticket blocked. Tell the session to check get_updates and resume_run; Getworkers does not restart the session itself.
Approvals and dependency proposals
An approval names an exact action and target. Approve or reject it; rejection requires a revised plan before the worker resumes. A decision between approaches is not approval for a risky action. An approved action can be performed once, within 24 hours: the worker checks the approval right before acting, and the card shows whether it is still unused, was used, expired or was revoked. Revoke an unused approval from its card if you change your mind.
A dependency proposal suggests an existing ticket should block this one. Accepting adds the relation after scope, duplicate and loop checks; declining adds no relation. Proposals do not pause the worker and stay open when its run ends. They never silently create a dependency.
Recovery and reminders
A stale run has stopped heartbeating; it retains its claim. Ask the same worker to resume or interrupt it from the ticket. Failed-run items can be dismissed. Long blocks appear after 48 hours; a run still waiting after its requests resolve appears after 24 hours.
Optional reminders recheck unanswered requests before sending. Opening a notification takes you to its inbox item; if the cause has cleared, you may find it is no longer open. You can also add the app to your phone's home screen.
Using the keyboard
Use Tab and Shift+Tab to reach links, answer fields and action buttons. Enter activates a focused button or link; Space activates checkboxes and radio choices. Inbox row shortcuts apply to the row, leaving focused controls to their normal keyboard behavior. You can answer a question or choose a decision without a mouse; your answer stays protected while it is unsaved.
